OT professor receives service award from Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America

, received the 2025 Distinguished Service Award from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) in June.

Allegretti福利偷拍91 深夜福利 area of expertise and research interest is assistive technology. She has been a member of RESNA since 2003 and has served the organization in numerous roles. She was recently re-elected to the RESNA board of directors and serves as chair of the special interest groups and as an associate editor of RESNA福利偷拍91 深夜福利 journal, Assistive Technology. 

As the leading professional organization dedicated to advancing the field of assistive technology and rehabilitation engineering, RESNA and its members help break down barriers for people with disabilities, empowering them to live more independently and fully, Allegretti said.

鈥淒r. Allegretti has been a dedicated leader with RESNA,鈥 said Bridgett Piernik-Yoder, PhD, OTR, FAOTA, professor and chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy and associate dean for academic affairs for the School of Health Professions. 鈥淪he is so deserving of this prestigious recognition.鈥
